Score Points Monthly Drawing: Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The Score Points Monthly Drawing (the “Drawing”) is sponsored by Troy Harris, PO Box 1234, Alpharetta, GA 30009 (“Sponsor”), which operates ScoreDeals (scoredeals.net).

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi) at the time of entry and who have a free ScoreDeals account. Employees of Sponsor and members of their immediate families and households are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. Drawing periods

Each calendar month is a separate drawing period, starting at 12:00:00 a.m. and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the first and last days of the month. Entries do not carry over to later months.

4. How to enter

Create a free account at scoredeals.net, confirm you meet the eligibility rules, then enter either way:

• Method A, Score Points: submit deals through the Submit a deal form. Each submission that Sponsor publishes earns 10 points, and each thumbs-up vote it receives from other readers earns 1 point (up to 25 per deal; votes from the submitter's own account or network do not count). Each point earned during a drawing period is one entry in that period's drawing. Sponsor decides in its sole discretion which submissions to publish. Limit 10 submissions per person per day.
• Method B, free entry: sign in and click “Claim today's free entry” on your account page to receive 10 entries. Limit one free entry claim per person per day (Eastern Time). [ATTORNEY: confirm whether a mail-in method is also needed.]

Every entry has the same chance of winning regardless of how it was earned. Limit one account per person. Entries generated by script, automation, multiple accounts, vote manipulation, or any other abuse are void, and Sponsor may disqualify anyone it believes is tampering with the Drawing.

5. Prize

One prize is awarded per drawing period, as described on the Score Points page before the period begins, including its approximate retail value (“ARV”). [ATTORNEY: confirm how prizes and ARV are posted.] No cash or other substitution, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes are not transferable. All taxes are the winner's responsibility; a winner receiving prizes worth $600 or more in a year will be asked for tax information and issued an IRS Form 1099.

6. Winner selection and notification

Within 10 days after each drawing period ends, Sponsor will randomly select one winner from all eligible entries received during that period, using a secure random number generator, weighted by the number of entries. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified at the email address on their account and must reply within 7 days, and may be required to sign a declaration of eligibility and release. If a potential winner does not respond, is ineligible, or cannot accept the prize, an alternate winner may be drawn.

7. General conditions

By entering, participants agree to these rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final. Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Drawing if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its control impairs its integrity, and in that case may award the prize from eligible entries received before the action. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries or for technical errors. This Drawing is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any retailer or brand featured on ScoreDeals.

8. Release and limitation of liability

Winners release Sponsor and its members, officers, and agents from claims arising from participation or from accepting or using a prize, to the extent permitted by law. [ATTORNEY: review.]

9. Disputes

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. [ATTORNEY: dispute resolution terms.]

10. Privacy

Information collected is used to run the Drawing and as described in our Privacy policy.

11. Winners list
